The heart of Noah Project is our shelter program. Through our shelter in Abilene, and through arrangements made on a case-by-case basis in outreach counties, we provide a refuge for families seeking a safe place to escape the violence in their own homes.
Whether their stay lasts a single night or for months, the victims who stay in our shelter are provided with food, clothing, toiletries and other necessities of daily life. Their children are able to continue their education, and the mothers receive crisis advocacy and support as well as information, education, and referrals to other agencies.
Each family that we shelter receives not only a safe place from which to start a new life, but also the tools needed to build that life.
